| Comments: Leonardo Di Vinchi lives at Overland Solutions! We needed a bike which will get us round the world with piece of mind and be able to carry enough to be self sufficient the whole way. We were asking a lot but Ernie delivered on time and above our expectations with a bike kitted out for whatever we throw at it either on the road or off. If you need the best you pay for the best - we got it and couldn't write the cheque quick enough. 18 month's later... We've been on the road in North and Central America for 18 months now.We've travelled some of the most challenging and crazy roads around.Corrugations, river crossings and landslides, boulder strewn, mud and soft sand. We can safely say we've been there and done it now. Some sections of road have been completed sliding down the road on our side, off the road all together and on one occasion going backwards after a 180. In all that riding a few things have broken on the bike but non of the things that Ernie did for us. The modifications have been bomb proof and have actually strengthened the bike as a whole. Everything works as it should do, the panniers come off in seconds, the tool boxes are secure and the luggage racks keep everything where it should be on the bike. In short, 18 months on we'd have exactly the same modifications done and wouldn't let anyone else do them but Ernie. |
